Our 'Mr Spock' interview measures aspects of a person's
personality and behaviour using techniques that cannot be incorporated
into a face to face interview.
Our services should only be used in conjunction with conventional
selection and interviewing techniques.

The
DISCovery
Personality Test
To familiarise yourself with our system
please feel free to 'play' with your Control Panel.
For example, send yourself an 'invite' to take the test, take the test and
actually experience how it all works. Try customising one of the
email templates or forwarding the results to a 'third party'.
We have tried to be as user-friendly as
possible but if you find anything difficult - please do not hesitate to
let us know.
How it works -
In Depth
Once you have ordered your system you
will receive an email from 'Personality' - Subject: 'Test Administration
System'.
This email will advise you that:
'Your Test Administration System has now
been created' and will give you:
- a link to your Control Panel
- your username and password to access your control panel - this info will
appear at the bottom of the email.
On the Control Panel
• Send an 'invite' to ask people to take the test.
• Enter a reference number for the test-taker which will appear on their
Report.
• Review test results.
• Send test-takers an email giving them a link to test results.
• Send a third party an email giving them a link to test results.
• Track 'invitees' who have not yet completed test as requested and send
them a reminder.
• Delete records.
• Sort by all the columns.
• Upload test-takers to be invited from an Excel spreadsheet
(Excel '97-2003 version).

About the
'More' Column
On the 'Details'
link
This is where you will:
- find the test-taker's Report and date test submitted.
- be able to forward the test results via email.
- find a log of forwarded test results and 'invitee' reminders.
On the 'Delete' link
This is where you will be able to delete a person's records.
About the
'Check' Column
To send a reminder email to an invitee -
click on one or more of the check boxes and then on 'Send Reminder Email'
at the bottom of the page.
►Second
option -
'Send new invite'
Enter the invitee's name, reference (if
required) and email address. Click on 'Send'.
Clicking on this link will enable you to
'invite' people to take the test.
To do this you simply enter the person's name*, email address and
reference (where applicable).
*The name that you enter will appear on the
test that the person will be sent a link to.
As soon as you click on the 'Send' button
your invitation email will be sent.
Your 'invitee' will receive your email
almost immediately.
As soon as your invitee completes a test you
will be advised by email. You can access the results via a link on the
email or via your Control Panel.
When the test has been taken by one of
your Invitees
You will receive an email alerting you to
the fact that test results are ready for you to view. Here is an
example of this email:
A new DISCovery Personality Test report
is waiting to be viewed. You can access this by:
- going to your Control Panel
- by clicking on the link below.
You will see that the report is addressed directly to the test-taker
rather than using terms such as 'the candidate', 'this applicant',
'this person', etc. We choose to do it this way because we actively
encourage the 'best practice' of sharing the results - in a
user-friendly form - with the test-taker.

option -
'Upload Excel Invitations'
If you already have your invitees'
details on an Excel spreadsheet (Excel '97-2003 version) please use this
facility to save you time and the possibility of errors.
First - Using your Microsoft Office Excel
programme layout your spreadsheet as per example given.
Secondly - Browse to upload the spreadsheet.
When you click on Upload you will see your data appear.
Click on Upload Data and your invitees will receive the email.
Click on List of test-takers and you will see your Excel spreadsheet
invitees listed.

option -
'Email Templates'
Automatically Generated Emails
There are three email default templates:
a. sending test-taker a link to take test
- Subject 'Personality Questionnaire'
b. sending test-taker a link to results.
- Subject 'Your DISCovery Personality Test Results'
c. email sending a third party a link to results.
- Subject 'Test-taker name AT' (this is the code that will automatically
enter the test-taker's name)
Amending Content of
Automatically Generated Emails
Change the content and/or the subject of
each or all of the templates. After making your amendments click on
'Update'.
Notes:
Please remember that the 'Subject' of any email is important and should be
relevant to the content and, appropriate to the receiver of the email.
Please do not forget to click on the
'Update' button after making changes.
